Unlike other ablative skin treatments like laser and peels, that destroy the epidermis, our EXCEED Dermal Needling device does not destroy the epidermal barrier. In fact, the epidermis stays intact allowing it to heal rapidly after a microneedling treatment. This gives collagen induction therapy a huge advantage over other skin treatments, as it means less down time and risk with faster results. It’s so safe that you can even receive this treatment while pregnant!
Microneedling works by creating ‘micro wounds/channels’ in the dermis of the skin that over time encourage the body to stimulate the natural production of collagen and elastin. Collagen is responsible for skin elasticity and firmness. This treatment can be used to effectively treat concerns like the appearance of fine lines, enlarged pores and stretch marks as well as acne scarring and dispersion of pigmentation.
EXCEED has surgical-grade stainless steel single-use micro needles. We adjust these micro needles manually in depth from 0.1mm to 2mm. We use different needle lengths to work on different skin concerns. For example, if you have both acne and acne scarring, the needle would be between 1.5 to 2mm. Or, for skin rejuvenation treatments, the needle would be adjusted to a much shorter length. So the entire treatment is tailor-made to your individual needs.

Before we embark on your needling journey, we first must evaluate your skins health to make sure that we are treating it with respect to get the best results! In this consultation we will look at your skin's history, your current skin care and internals regime and create a plan towards your goals.
Because Collagen Induction Therapy is quite invasive we may require you to purchase the supporting Dermaviduals range to make sure that your skins healing process is on point. This consultation fee can be used against either towards your new regime or for the treatment itself.

Frequently Asked Questions
How often can the micro needling procedure be repeated?
As often as required. For collagen induction therapy we recommend you start with four treatments, but at four-week intervals.
What is the downtime after a dermal micro needling treatment?
The inflammatory reaction of the skin is extremely short and fades significantly within hours from redness to pinkish that may last for 12 to 24 hours on average.
In order to accelerate the recovery time, we recommend a course of 10 x Light Healing Sessions after the procedure, and to protect the skin with zinc-based sunscreen, after 24 hours. We also recommend the use of mineral make up to help with the healing. We have Saint Minerals available.
What should I avoid on my skin?
